Hey there, I’m Shait. I’m a barista, a curious learner, and someone who finds meaning in the little details , especially in coffee. Since 2018, I’ve worked across the diverse setting of coffee from commercial cafes in Nepal, to a coffee-focused food truck in Al Ain, to leading a cafe in Abu Dhabi. I’ve operated as head barista, team leader, consultant, and mentor. I’ve worked events, advised home brewers, helped cafes improve their taste and workflow, and supported friends behind the scenes in both national and international coffee competitions. I’ve also had the privilege of working in luxury specialty coffee environments, including Mokha 1450 in Dubai, and have served at high-end events where consistency, experience, and service excellence are key. I hold a diploma in Hospitality Management and certifications in Barista Skills and Sensory Skills (Foundation to Professional), along with advanced Barista Hustle courses like Coffee Quality Control, Advanced Espresso and The Water Course . I’ve attended countless workshops and continue learning every day. Right now, I’m preparing for the CVA for Cuppers course as part of my journey toward becoming a licensed Q Grader. I proudly took 2nd place at The Barn Coffee Olympics 2025 in Dubai , and in 2024, I had the opportunity to compete in the UAE National Coffee in Good Spirits Championship, it was a big learning curve and a creative high point in my coffee journey so far.Sip n Speak is simply my space to share- no pressure, no promises.
